New Year Festivities

Our good friends L & J had a New Years Party where we all dressed in our finest. Here is a picture of my beautiful family.

Cara was not in the mood for pictures, it was getting late.

However after some cuddle time with Mommy, she was ready for her close up

Towards the end of the evening I ended up as I always do, surrounded by the most precious creatures.

J commented on how she liked it that I was just laying in my "ball gown" with little ones all over me like it was the most natural thing in the world. It is natural for me, as I do enjoy it very much.

I like the new beginning that New Years can signal. Life is always full of new beginnings each day, but it is fun to have all of the pomp & circumstance. This year was a tough one and I am ready to begin a new one. I know that with my family and the Lord I can get through anything and I am looking for the adventures this one will bring.
