Birthday Blog

Today is my birthday. It has been an interesting day. I was home today with Cara, and Allan went to Boys & Girls club for a few hours, then he joined us back at home. I enjoyed being with my babies for some extra time. My wonderful husband made me a yummy steak dinner, with potatoes, corn & biscuits. I had planned on having strawberry shortcake for dessert, but then the doorbell rang. Chris called me to the door because it was for me. There stood Lenny, Nicholas, and Chloe. Lenny was holding a plate of cupcakes and Nicholas had flowers. What a wonderful surprise from the Convis family for my birthday! Jenna made my very favorite, yellow cake cupcakes with chocolate frosting, what a very extremely thoughtful thing to do. Lenny had lit a candle on one of the cupcakes, and I blew it out and made my birthday wish. Sometimes when we are down and feeling blue the Lord sends us a blessing through someone we know. I loved my surprise very much. My friend Jenn also came over to enjoy dinner with us. I love to have friends over for the special days.
