I am sure some of you would like me to stop blogging about basketball, however tonight's game deserves to be blogged about. Allan's team played their last regular season game, against the undefeated team. There were nerves before hand, and a little pep talk to Allan that all he needed to do was play his best game for his team. This team also happens to be the team that his best friend plays on, so there is always that feeling of playing against someone important to you.
It was a pretty exciting game. We got out to a small lead in the beginning and then they struck back. Our boys then got ready to go and made the lead bigger. They were on fire. It was amazing. Then they just kept at it, doing the plays as they were coached and depending on each other. Third quarter, Allan scores!!! Wonderful. We ended up winning 31-11. Beating the undefeated team was amazing enough but to have a commanding score, who would have thought. I can never say enough about how amazing our coaches are. You can see the improvement weekly in this team. It is mind blowing to see how a coach that believes in all of his team can bring them up and up and up.
Talk about adrenaline. Whew the whole family was feeling it. Well maybe not Cara as much, she was happy he won, but at age 6 it is not really the thing that excites her so much.
