Shoe Fairies

About 2 weeks agao, we had some pretty awesome weather for AZ.  Lots of rain, storms, and other crazy things.  Thursday of that week was the worst, and of all days for it to happen, my shoe blew out as shown below.  Talk about wet feet!
If you look closely you can see where the heel has come out of the shoe and where the hole is.  It was not awesome at all, since these are my only tennis shoes.   Then Friday I came home and Chris asked if I had been in our bedroom yet, which I had not.  So I went in there and found:

These beautiful new Nike shoes that the "Shoe Fairy"  aka Chris had left for me on our bed.  On his way home from work Friday he took the time to go to a shoe store and find my size and get me some beautifully comfortable shoes.  Nikes to boot!!  What a thoughtful thing to do.  I was so touched.  Chris knows that I won't buy these things for myself, I have a very hard time spending any money on me ever.  I love these shoes.  They are comfortable and pretty and my feet are in heaven.  I am blessed in many ways and Chris is one of those ways.

I do have to admit I was going to blog about this sooner, but couldn't find the cord for my camera, and let's be honest, it needed the pictures.  Especially of the blown out shoe :-)

  1. Wish I had a man that was so thoughtful. His Mom raised him right. With luck you'll have a son who is thoughtful and caring too.

  2. Thanks Brandy! I am working on raising a son who appreciates those in his life. However he came out amazingly thoughtful and caraing so I am lucky with him too.
